October Update

Nanalo ako sa singing contest! ahahaha... I think last 3 weeks ago tinawagan ako ng kaibigan ko from Dubai Internet City ( Ate Ethel) kaylangan daw nila ng contestant para sa ginagawang site. Nahiya ako pero napilit din akong magjoin. Sa tulong ni Ate Joy naka pagrecord kami ng video to post and make entry on the contest. Then Round 1 has begun. I won and 2nd round I was 2nd place. Nakakatuwa ksi ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng lakas ng loob na sumali sa contest... lalo na sa singing contest. hehehe. Actually kung hindi lang talaga ako kinapos ngayong month na to hindi rin ako sasali. buti n lang ksi di ba sayang din yun? Ang total cash prize na nakuha ko ay tumataginting na 325 US Dollars o 14,000 pesos. hehehe. Sa lahat ng mga bumoto sakin dahil naawa sila hahaha.. thanks a lot po. Kina Nay Lestie na nangampanya sa malayong lugar na Norway. Si ate Mulan na talaga namang tumulong sakin para makapagregister ung iba. Si Grace na nangalap ng mga email ID at password. Sa lahat sa bahay na Villa 12 (Tita Lilia, Kuya Ed, Ate Allona, Mike, Ate Love, Ate Grace, Ate Joy, Kuya Donald, Kuya Jonathan, Ate Mitch, Mareng Michelle ko, Kuya Aris, Kuya Julius, Noris & ETISALAT! hahaha...kasi may internet connection kami sa bahay) Kay Papa Joven na bumoto din sakin sa huli :P thanks pa.. muaaaaah. Basta sa lahat salamat. Sa mga opismate ko din.. si Mr. Madhu pinalad na manalo ng 50 dollars for voting... sayang sana lahat tau e nanalo.. hehe.. la lang... eto nga pala ung entry ko.. ahihi...

EID MUBARAK 2007

Last week Friday celebration ng Eid para sa mga Muslim dito sa Dubai at sa buong mundo. Para itong Pasko sa kanila. After 1 month ng fasting e natapos na din ang kanilang paghihirap. For us... ang sarap kasi 3 days kami walang pasok, from Friday to Sunday. I have a Muslim friend, dahil sa may tampuhan kami e hindi ko sya binabati for 2 days bago mag friday kasi naman ang lakas na ng topak nya.. cguro dahil sa gutom.. hehe.. joke... but that day... (friday) he calls me... nagtatampo kasi naman diko man lang daw sya babatiin sa isa sa importanteng araw sa kanila...EID nga yon... e di ayun binati ko and then were ok again. He is Noris. Iraqui sya at kapitbahay ko.. hehe... actually sa kabilang room lang sila kasama si kuya Romy. haaaaaay... Then Saturday morning nagpunta kami sa beach together with other folks sa Villa 13, nagkaisa buong Villa 12 & 13 para makapag enjoy kami sa araw na yon. Masaya kasi first time ko lang nagpunta sa Jumeira beach park after more than 1 and half years. By the way hindi ako nakapasok for 2 days kasi may sakit ako. kawawa. hehhee... then ayun natapos ng masaya ang araw ko. Post ko na lang ung pictures if I got the copy na.

After one and a half year working in the distributor of O2 PDA mobile, I got my first PDA and not O2... bwahaha. Check it out maen, i love my new cell. yeheyyy...

GITEX 2007

I was told by mah boss to join in this event one's again. But this time I will be assigned in the UNITEX Stall in the East Hall. That was a one week event and Im sure Im going to enjoy it. Together with my co employee here in Milesoft ( Ferdinand & Cecile ) we went there with so much excitement. Im planning to get one laptop there because of the big discounts I can get from all the participating stores. Even the main distrubutor has stall there. I was assign to merchandised the O2 PDA mobiles and also Iteq PDA mobiles, also Asus & flybook laptops, even this alcatel landline phones.. hahaha. On the first day it was kinda boring. Like last year the last day was such a big day! i really had a lot of fun.

During that time also i became more closed to my friends ( Fyi, Rosemarie, Cathy, Ferdz, Cecile & Noris). The five are working with me as a merchandiser in the GITEXT. Noris is one of my roommates but I havent spoke to him that much because its like that.. ahaha... (nauubos english ko kapag kausap ko sya lols). And I dont like his mood... he is kinda weird lol. But during the time of GITEXT we became closed friends because everytime Im going home everybody is sleeping except him. Nobody is there to chat with except him so that's it... we became friends.

GITEXT 2006 @ Airport Expo (Nov.18-24)

Out in the office again from November 18-24 for GITEXT in Dubai Airport Expo. Together with mah officemates (well not actually officemates but co-employees) from UNITEC Trading LLC which is located in Deira. We have 1 week to be a promoter and merchandiser for our products (Iteq, O2, Alcatel and Axia). I was assigned to be in the stall of Sharaf DG (one of the big company here in UAE) and Im so lucky because they are very nice, most especially the store manager that time... hehe... his name is Huseini. I also met Elmer, co merchandiser but LG Mobile phones product. That was a very tiring week but I really have fun. Having the opportunity to be in that once a year event was such a great plessure. Im proud because I sold many units and will be getting a commission for that. haha.. And the most important is......... i got mah first Digital Camera, lols. Thanks to mah boss, Sir Bibhas for paying it.. haha..

Kanta Tayo mga Kakoino

Tarakanta tayo... matagal tagal na din akong di nakaka awit. Dati naalala ko nung time ko sa Koino, kapag depressed sa class punta lang ako sa munti naming tahanan sa pagitan ng dalawang restroom sa main building ng Letran. Uupo sabay hawak sa song book at gitara. ALAS! Kantahan na... sabay sa kwentuhan awitan ng walang humpay hanggang mawala lahat ng di magandang pakiramdam. Madalas malungkot lalo na kapag hirap sa klase at may problemang personal. Pero kapag nasa Koino na ko Hala! tanggal ang lungkot, wala ng lumbay. hehe. Mahal na mahal ko ang Koino kasi ang dami kong natutunan dito, bukod pa sa mga taong miyembro nitong parang tunay na kapamilya na ang naging turingan. Minsan naging isang iyakin at mahinang Donna ako, pero dahil sa Koino kahit paano naman masasabi ko... "SOMETHING'S CHANGE" Haaay, ang dami ko ng namiss na Activities nila since I went here in Dubai for a reason. Saktong sakto kasi malapit na kaming bumuo ng branch dito sa Dubai... wahaha.... Dahil sa namiss ko ang pagkanta lalo na ung service ko sa church.... I decided!!!!! haha... tsarannnnnn... pupunta ako sa St. Mary this Friday for an audition... ehem ehem, miya AAAAAAOOOOOOO( hahaha ). At hulaan nyo kung sino kasama ko? hmmmmn Si Ate Carmel, isang tatak KOINO. Ibang klase talaga! Sana makapasa kami para naman mapagpatuloy ko ang aking pagsisilbi sa Kanya. Sa totoo lang nakakamiss din talaga. I remember nung college ako ultimo Our Father di ko memorised... kakahiya pero thanks GOD kasi naging Koino ko at mas lalong napalapit sa Kanya. I really miss the old days...

Mah Boss Son's Birthday Party

Nakarecieve ako ng invitation from my boss (Sir Philip) to attend a party. sabi nya.. " Donna its my sons bday and you are invited, dont worry everybody will be there including Madhu (our Accountant, my supervisor), you will go? etc etc..." he said it in a very kakakilig na voice.. nyahaha... Kakahiya naman kung di ako pupunta ksi boss ko na mismo ung nag invite. Naisip ko kaylangan ko din minsan ng mga ganong event para naman marefresh ako kahit papano... especially sa mga panahong ito... Alam ni papa na malungkot ako this days... ewan ko ba kasi parang wala lang ung mga araw ko dito... I feel so empty, cguro dahil di na rin ako nakakapagsimba in past few weeks already. Kasalanan ko un ksi naman nagpapakabusy ako every friday sa paglalaba. haaaaaaay... so ayun na nga kagabi nagpunta kami sa birthday party ng anak ng boss ko. Umalis kami dito sa office at around 7:50pm. Hahaha.. kakatawa pa kasi ung amo kong maliit (Sir Bibhas) bumili ng gift (chocolate) hahaha, take note para ung sa 1 year old ha [-x tawa kami ng tawa. Boys nga naman walang masyadong idea sa mga ganong bagay. Binalot namin un ni Cecile, gusto pa naman sana namin may ribbon and all... nakialam ung isa (Aditay) haha.. kinalabasan ng gift..???? Parang binalot lang ng wrapper at natadtad pa ng tape. bwahaha.. tawa kaming lahat sa itsura. Then ayun na nga... pinagkasya namin ang aming sarili sa isang maliit na KIA na kotse... asus... 6 kami nun ( Aditya, Mr. Madhu, sa unahan at 4 kami sa likod, Ako, Cecile, Ferdinand at ang aming big boss.. si Sir Bibhas. Hahaha... dun sya sa likod ksi maliit lang sya kung si Mr madhu sa likod patay na lalo at tyak na di na kami makakahinga.. bwahaha. ) Im so proud sa mga boss ko kasi mababait sila at napaka down to earth.

At last we arrived at Hamarain Center in Deira, Dubai after 45mins in a traffic. waaaaaah. First time kong naka attend ng birthday party with Indian community. Sa CaravaNaging masaya naman ang gabi namin. Nakita ko yung mga dati kong kasama sa opisina sa Media City (Edward, Imran and Mathew). Namiss ko din sila kahit paano, especially si Edward ksi naman kami lagi ang nagkakukwentuhan mapalipas lang ang boring na araw namin sa Media City office. Matagal din kami naging magkatrabaho ni Edward. Kapatid nga pala sya ng bosing kong si Sir Philip. He introduced me to his wife and son. Mababait silang lahat. Then almost all of the Milesoft people were there. We played games, kakalungkot nga lang ksi di ako nanalo... huhuhu. hahaha. After that kainan na!!! haha. sarap ng menu. Eat all you can ito. kaso mas nagconcentrate ako sa mga salad nila. hehe.

After kumain, nakipagkwentuhan muna kami sa wife ni sir Philip para naman di masabi na hit and run, bwahaha. tapos we went home by taxi na lang. From Hamarain Center to Al Satwa. Then ayun dun nagtatapos ang party... haha. Tulog na ako.. gud nyt.. Zzzzzzz
